Put on the Whole Armour of God

Ephesians 6:10-19 (KJV)

- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
- Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
- Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
- And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
- Above all, taking the shield of faith,
wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
- And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
- Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
- And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Wakeland Family Garden

History of our garden in Dickinson, Texas.
2012 Garden Richard really let the garden go this past winter of 2011 with little to no maintenance. I had a tough job preparing the garden in February-March. Lorraine didn't plant much this year. We just threw some seeds we had from last year into the garden boxes. We didn't even get them started, we planted so late. We have vegetables from last year sprouting every where. We had planted watermelon in one box last year this year they have sprouted in 4 boxes. I'm letting them go ahead and grow. View All Photos
2011 Garden Richard continued the expansion adding 2 more 4 x 4 boxes and two custom boxes on the end 2 x 8 boxes. He is planning on setting stone pavers in the empty area between the 2 x 8 boxes and perhaps have a table and some chairs for a reading area. This seasons garden from March 19 pre-spring garden preparation to June 8 the end of the season.. Way to hot! View All Photos
2009 Garden Richard expands our raised garden through the fall of 2008 and constructs two new 4 x 4 raised garden beds. The first two 4 x 8 were constructed with untreated wood and are decaying at a very rapid rate. These new boxes are constructed with Cedar fence material.
2008 Garden Richard constructed two 4 x 8 foot raised beds in 2006 - 2007. We planted Spring 2007 and 2008. There was a pine tree we lost along with several other trees in those few years. These photos are from planting in spring to the late summer 2008 towards the end of the growing season for this planting. We have cucumber and tomatoes.
2005 Garden This was the first Spring in our home and this was our first garden. We basically through some seeds in the ground and tried to keep the local rabbits and other animals out.
